The first event was a Paint and Take workshop for Persons suffering from Pulmonary Hypertension. (Date to be determined). Mickey Krause, Founder of Art Lovers Place, Inc. was awarded a $5,000 grant to put on 6 separate workshops for PH Patients. This project is supported by a Tom Lantos Innovation in Community Service Award. The Pulmonary Hypertension Association's Tom Lantos Innovation in Community Service Award is funded by Gilead. Mickey also suffers from PH.
Donations are needed to to fund programs for a Fine Artist Senior, Disabled or Veteran such as a
The last 2 years, 2017 & 2018, we raised just over $50,000! We would like to double that this year 2019. Thus giving us the opportunity to put programs in place geared toward Veterans, Senior and Disabled Artists (or those who'd like to learn to be).
You can also donate items such as a small Box Truck, iPad, a Chrysler Town & Country Limited Van (the 2013 Town & Country was donated by a very generous donor August 2017-Many Thanks!) Framed artwork for future fundraising auction/raffle.... Or Real Estate... Anything you donate is Tax Deductible as a Charitable Donation on your Tax Return (check with your financial advisor for details)
